About
Aristotle of Stagira studied under Plato for twenty years, then founded his own school, the Lyceum. His works span logic, biology, ethics, politics, metaphysics, and poetics — the first systematic attempt to understand all of nature. He tutored Alexander the Great and shaped Western thought for two millennia.
